Artist Statement

I'm a graduate from Purdue University with a B.A. in studio arts and technology with a concentration in photography, and film and video production. Throughout my studies and now I explore a more fine art way of viewing subjects. I am exploring topics such as diversity and mental health. I am a Chinese born American raised artist and growing up without my Chinese culture provided various obstacles, but also a different perspective in life. I try and allow viewers into my life and piece together the different challenges I've faced as an adoptee. While still new to the topic, I am also trying to explore mental health through my own experiences and allow viewers to see a glimpse into my mind while still putting together the puzzle of the art.
